The PrBus is a control device used to prevent ticket non-payment. It is a bus turnstile that drops vertically each time a ticket is validated and rotates in an emergency. It rotates even without a ticket being inserted and will signal violations with an audible and/or visual signal. The PrBus is automatically lowered in the event of a power failure and via a release button on the console; it can also be connected to the airbag sensor so it can be lowered immediately in the event of a collision.
PR Bus’s features have been tested in over 20 Italian cities, reducing the number of traffic violators.
