The pandemic emergency has radically changed our way of life, bringing with it new challenges. Among those most affected is undoubtedly the transportation sector, which has had to adapt to the change without a few obstacles and difficulties.
Saima therefore asked itself how to bring safety back into everyday life, how to use our expertise and products to help the sectors most affected by one of the most deadly epidemics in history.
One of the answers was a Thermal Scanner: a temperature detection device useful not only for improving the efficiency of epidemic prevention and protecting public health, but also for safeguarding the profits of transport companies.
The importance of sanitizing public spaces
An unsafe environment destabilizes users who, lacking health protection, are driven to change habits and customs, modifying their routines and avoiding certain places. This is why it is important to sanitize environments and ensure that those who use such spaces completely eliminate the transmission and contraction of pathogens harmful to health. Making an environment safer not only protects those who frequent it but also reverses a destabilizing situation by encouraging customer loyalty, as they feel protected and cared for.
Taking children’s temperatures
Children, often overlooked, are actually among the most vulnerable groups in need of protection. This is primarily due to the virus’s impact on them, not so much on symptoms but, above all, on a psychological level. Secondly, it is important to protect children to protect adults, especially the elderly, who are the most vulnerable.
Saima has therefore understood the importance of access controls to a public place, even for the littlest ones, who will find themselves in front of a thermal scanner entirely designed for them in both function and aesthetics: the Baby Scanner.
How a Thermoscanner Works: Saima’s Temperature Monitoring Solutions
The Saima Thermal Scanner body measurement device is adaptable to a wide range of entrances, especially for users in transit. This great versatility does not compromise its ergonomics; in fact, its use is simple and intuitive as the user is also guided by a voice synthesiser.
When you stand in front of the device, it will measure your body temperature. If it’s above the preset value, the alert will turn red, denying you access. If the temperature is acceptable, the alert will turn green, allowing you to enter.
Saima has not only made its knowledge and technologies available with “thermal scanners” but has also developed a series of environmental sanitation and containment systems aimed at containing biological risk.
Welc’on door, for example, is a universal kit applicable to all types of accesses and can be integrated with a temperature measurement system.
UNO is a people counter for public places that can limit the number of accesses.
Healthy Passage aimed at sanitizing the person.
Aria Buona is Saima’s air sanitization system for combating bacteria and viruses like Covid-19. Along with these examples, there are just as many others capable of meeting every need for a healthy and controlled environment.
