The ATM containment shield is a patented structure made of steel and composite materials designed to protect the ATM in the safe area, preventing ATM parts from being forcibly ejected in the event of a robbery. Furthermore, after the explosion, the ATM shield will prevent robbers from reaching the cash stored inside. The shield has been explosion-tested according to the UNI EN 1143-1 standard “Means of storage – Requirements, classification and test methods for burglary resistance – Part 1: Safes, ATM safes, doors for strong rooms and strong rooms” by an authorized and recognized certification body.
The resulting structure achieves high resistance, thanks to its elasticity, while maintaining a limited weight of 110 kg. The ATM protection is designed to adapt to the dimensions of various commercially available ATMs, in terms of height, width, and depth. Furthermore, since the structure is made of modular parts, if there are protrusions on the ATM surface, such as alarm boxes, these parts can be relocated to free areas, minimizing the need to move the equipment.
ATM Protection Setup
- Folded and reinforced carbon steel sheets with welded plates painted in various RAL colors.
- Floor fixing foot with threaded pins locked with chemical resins.
- EN 1300 class B certified lock for closing the bars protecting the safe door.
- Composite steel cables to connect the side modules.
- Elastic glue with two-component binder for fixing the modules to the walls of the safe.
Optional ATM Protection
- Anti-tear plate: steel plate bolted to the floor with chemical resins and anchored with articulated links, made of steel rod, to the noCash 350-409.
- Cover bag: this cover is an accessory for the noCash 350-409 protection, it is made with a special tear-proof and fire-resistant aramidic fabric specifically designed to contain the effects of the explosion.
