Sister of the Gate Box interlocking security door designed specifically for banks, the Gate Box EL was created for the access control in high-risk areas, such as airports, where it is necessary to prevent the entry of dangerous people and objects into so-called sterile areas through passenger exit lanes, especially in high-traffic areas.
By market standards, this is an automatic interlocking door. compact, capable of detect any dangerous objects (knives, explosives, firearms, etc.) thus allowing the passage of luggage. Given the purpose for which it was designed, SAIMA has created a structure in which the doors slide inside of special guides designed to prevent objects from being introduced from under the doors. Also due to its intended use, an aspect that distinguishes the Gate Box EL is the total absence of tripping hazard and the presence of non-slip flooring, this is because access must be easy for all types of users, disabled or not.
